What Red Markup is
Red Markup builds, checks, reviews, organizes and answers questions about construction documents - submittals, specs, drawings and contracts - using an engineer-built method with AI assistance. You upload documents, we deliver the result to your email or your private job page.
The important limit: Red Markup does not replace your engineer of record, your licensed design professional, or your firm's own quality process. Our output is a review aid. You stay responsible for what you submit, sign and build.
Pricing and the founding beta
- Prices are listed on each service, per project, before you start. No subscriptions, no hidden fees.
- During the founding beta, your first project is free. Beta pricing is locked for founding customers when paid service begins.
- Service limits (page counts, question counts, file sizes) are shown on the service pages and enforced automatically.
Your side of the deal
- Only upload documents you have the right to share with a reviewer.
- Don't upload malware, don't probe or abuse the service, don't try to extract other customers' data.
- Use the results as a professional aid, with your own judgment on top.
Our side of the deal
- We handle your documents as described in the Privacy Policy - one purpose, no sharing, no training, deletion on request.
- If we cannot deliver a job, you don't pay for it. If something is wrong with a delivered result, email us and we make it right or refund that job.
- Our liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid for that job.
The service may evolve
We are in beta: features, limits and prices may change. Changes never apply retroactively to a job already paid for, and founding customers keep their locked pricing.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
